Here the olive ash wood, rotary cut in a single sheet, leads the child right inside the tree trunk and teaches him how old that object actually, how much history and how much life it brings with itself. The most distinguishable formal feature in Flowerssori tables is their clear-cut lines and formal simplicity. The beauty of the material, white ash rolled out into a single leaf, is exalted by the shape of the object, allowing light to engrave upon it the sensorial perception of its physical limit. The table is composed of a single element, a perfectly horizontal top which curves inward at its extremities. This becomes a base against which the child’s back may rest if s/he sits at the short side of the table, this bodily contact also favouring a precious encounter with the material substance of the wood.

It takes a mould weighing 800 kilograms to produce contemporarily the seat of a Flowerssori chair and this element; an extremely versatile piece, here shown in its variant as small table. The Flowerssori small table is therefore physically born at the same time as the Flowerssori chair and its peculiarity is that it is a modular element. These tables are shaped so that they may be placed side by side or assembled should the need to augment the children’s work surface arise.

This is how the Flowerssori bench with backrest was born!
By simply stacking the chairs through our stacking system and then rotating it on its base, you easily obtain a comfortable, stable and ergonomic bench.
The obvious result is that no precious portion of space is sacrificed by being turned into a chair-stocking area – the chairs may actually be stacked even more compactly, to the point that twice as many chairs and side tables/stools may be placed in exactly the same space. In fact, with exactly the same number of Flowerssori pieces you can furnish different spaces in a dynamic and versatile fashion.

Once assembled, the Flowerssori stacking system is something more than a functional storage method. It is a separate and individual piece of Flowerssori furniture, which works as a room divider to create a new and aesthetically intriguing enhancement of the available space. The structures which may be obtained through the assemblage of the chairs and of the side tables/stools may be variously configured, according to both the aesthetic impact factor and the functional requirements which need to be met. These structures may become compact space dividers or they may be used to create strategic corners, to offer the children suggestions for play or invite them to look through the hole in the chairs, as if from a privileged vantage point, and describe the activities they see taking place on the other side.

3-6 Years, 6-100 Years, Cots, Home, The Bed That GrowsThis small bed uses the same concept as the cradle and mini sofa while adding another base module and the possibility of two additional side panels. The elements are held together with the same all-natural assembly system in leather and wood.
A bed constructed in this manner is perfect for a child between 80 and 140cm tall. The distance between the side panels allows children to manage the so called “sleep phases” on their own, letting them decide when to go to bed and when to get up. This adjustment is very important because it does not interfere with, but rather encourages, the concepts of autonomy and independence in the child’s actions as described in the Montessori Method.
But that’s not all! By combining two beds together (4 modules in a row), you get a unique elongated “bunk bed”, an ideal solution for two children who share a room with limited space. Enjoy the beauty of flexibility!

QuickviewThe Flowerssori Big Bed
3-6 Years, 6-100 Years, Home, The Bed That GrowsThe basic concept at the core of “the bed that grows” project develops out of a careful consideration of children’s needs (a beautiful, comfortable small bed, able to support their own special way of being and moving) and combines them with those of the parents (to feel that their children are safe, to optimize limited space, and a search for versatility and durability). Here we see the four-module version.
Four bed modules are needed to form two beds that strategically solve problems of space and versatility:
- the double small bed in line;
- the large single bed.
The first configuration (the double small bed in line) answers in a simple and straightforward manner the problems of those families that have space issues: two children, for example, and a small room that they must share.
The four bed modules are lined up and connected with the wood and leather elements, so as to form a horizontal bunk bed. If necessary, it is also possible to add the side panels, thanks to which the parents feel their children are safer while sleeping, but which nevertheless allow the children freedom to get up and get out of bed when they wake up.
The second configuration (the large single) allows the child freedom to grow up and move on to the adult stage through the extreme comfort and versatility of the Flowerssori “Bed that grows"! Here the four modules are joined two by two, again through the leather and wood connecting elements, and become the perfect size to accommodate a standard mattress for a large bed.
In short, the Flowerssori “Bed that grows" is almost a magic bed! Its unique feature? Differently from the other Flowerssori beds, here the footboard and the headboard are the cradle’s side panels!
