Design and functionality
A child’s sized product
The drawers may be opened on both sides but are anchored to the chest of drawers through a security system which prevents them from slipping out. Therefore, these elements may be also used to create two separate areas within the room. The dimensions have been shaped and conceived on the proportion of children: this is why we have developed them in different sizes that follow the hight of the child.
Technical details
Handmade in Italy – Registered Design – No need to assemble
All the elements of the Flowerssori ash finish line are built with natural wood, with no plastic or metal included. Moreover, they have been certified by CATAS (centre for research, development and laboratory test in the wood furniture field) of San Giovanni al Natisone (UD-I) in agreement with the latest european law on school furniture (UNI EN 1729-1, UNI EN 1729-2, UNI EN 14434, UNI 4856).

The Flowerssori Big Bed
3-6 Years, 6-100 Years, Home, The Bed That GrowsThe basic concept at the core of “the bed that grows” project develops out of a careful consideration of children’s needs (a beautiful, comfortable small bed, able to support their own special way of being and moving) and combines them with those of the parents (to feel that their children are safe, to optimize limited space, and a search for versatility and durability). Here we see the four-module version.
Four bed modules are needed to form two beds that strategically solve problems of space and versatility:
- the double small bed in line;
- the large single bed.
The first configuration (the double small bed in line) answers in a simple and straightforward manner the problems of those families that have space issues: two children, for example, and a small room that they must share.
The four bed modules are lined up and connected with the wood and leather elements, so as to form a horizontal bunk bed. If necessary, it is also possible to add the side panels, thanks to which the parents feel their children are safer while sleeping, but which nevertheless allow the children freedom to get up and get out of bed when they wake up.
The second configuration (the large single) allows the child freedom to grow up and move on to the adult stage through the extreme comfort and versatility of the Flowerssori “Bed that grows"! Here the four modules are joined two by two, again through the leather and wood connecting elements, and become the perfect size to accommodate a standard mattress for a large bed.
In short, the Flowerssori “Bed that grows" is almost a magic bed! Its unique feature? Differently from the other Flowerssori beds, here the footboard and the headboard are the cradle’s side panels!

3-6 Years, 6-100 Years, Chairs, School, Shop, Stacking systemThe added value of a project of furniture for children is that its characterising elements, if rotated, can become other objects and create new functions.
This is how the Flowerssori bench with backrest was born!
By simply stacking the chairs through our stacking system and then rotating it on its base, you easily obtain a comfortable, stable and ergonomic bench.
The obvious result is that no precious portion of space is sacrificed by being turned into a chair-stocking area – the chairs may actually be stacked even more compactly, to the point that twice as many chairs and side tables/stools may be placed in exactly the same space. In fact, with exactly the same number of Flowerssori pieces you can furnish different spaces in a dynamic and versatile fashion.
BENCH WITH BACKREST CAT 2 made of rotary cut veneered ash wood and beech, class “0” glue, PEFC and FSC forest management certification, 99% antibacterial coating.
The diversity and uniqueness of the colours are due to the rotary cut of the ash wood. The coating, which is compliant with European standards, is stain and scratch resistant.

Flowerssori Single bed
6-100 Years, Home, The Bed That GrowsThe small child gradually grows into an adolescent and finally into a fully developed adult. It is now that, the cradle first and the small Flowerssori bed later, "grow up" handing on the baton, as it were, to the single bed.
The single bed, which is part of the project we have called "the bed that grows", corresponds to the final stage in the extension of the bed.
The Flowerssori single bed also provides headboards in different sizes, depending on the height of the mattress you chose to combine it with.
